Achieve Early College High School (AECHS) offers a unique opportunity for students who are interested in graduating within a four-year period with a High School Diploma, and an Associate’s Degree in partnership with South Texas College. AECHS is committed to providing students with an atmosphere that promotes college readiness through a rigorous academic curriculum and positive college environment.

Application for Admission Verification

I certify that the information provided is complete and understand that the submission of false information is grounds for denial of the application and/or withdrawal of admission. I grant and authorize MISD employees to verify, access, and utilize academic information such as attendance rate, grades and assessment data to ensure proper academic placement. I understand that the school and colleges expect a high standard of conduct and academic performance for its students, and if accepted for admission to the school, my child and I will abide by all rules and regulations set forth by both the Achieve Early College High School and South Texas College.

I understand that Achieve Early College High School will focus on rigorous college preparatory work, Pre-AP, AP, and dual enrollment in college courses at South Texas College Pecan Campus. A grade below 70% for either STC or AECHS may result in mandatory tutoring.

This completed application must be submitted on or before Friday, January 25, 2019.

There will be a mandatory parent/guardian and student interview session at the Achieve.

You and your child will only have to attend one interview session.

Both parent/guardian and student MUST be present.

1st Interview Session: January 28, 2019 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.

2nd Interview Session: January 29, 2019 5:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m.

Parents and students have to attend ONE Interview Session together. Choose the one that is best for you and your student.
