Achieve Early College High School

Achieve Early College High School, part of the McAllen Independent School District in McAllen, Texas, is designed to provide a rigorous, college-preparatory education in grades 9th through 12th within a small school setting. 

 Additionally, through a partnership with South Texas College, all students attending AECHS have the opportunity to graduate with an Associate of Arts degree along with a Distinguished Achievement high school diploma in four years. AECHS graduates can potentially earn their Bachelor’s Degree two years after high school graduation. 

 Students earn the majority of their credits by attending college classes at South Texas College and Achieve campus as opposed to earning them through Dual Credit classes or online courses as in a typical high school. This personal, hands-on college experience better prepares students for life at any four-year university.
